Meet your Labour Candidate for Vivary ward:

Robert Noakes

I am delighted to have been chosen as the Labour Party candidate for Vivary Ward in the upcoming Somerset West and Taunton Council elections. I have lived in the ward for two and a half years, on South Street, with my wife, and I work for myself as an accountant.

As a local resident, I have become increasingly frustrated by the sheer incompetence of the borough and county councils, both Conservative controlled. Somerset West and Taunton is a new council, and with that comes a fantastic opportunity to elect new councillors with a new vision for Taunton.

If elected I would prioritise more help for those most in need, the protection of vital local services such as libraries, more investment in green initiatives and a long-term economic plan to revitalise our high street and local economy generally.
